BRICK & ASH NEWBURYPORT Announces Block Party Series - August through October, 2017
NEWBURYPORT, MASSACHUSETTS (August 2017) – Brick & Ash in Newburyport is offering a series of exciting specials and entertainment options for the remainder of Summer 2017 and into the Fall. From FREE pool Monday through Thursday evenings to their exciting Block Party Series, Newburyport locals and visitors will find something for everyone.
“Newburyport Development is extremely pleased to announce the exciting happenings at Brick & Ash through October,” states Newburyport Development Marketing Manager Rebekah Macchia, “Brick & Ash is offering fabulous dining experiences as well as fun entertainment options to make this summer and fall extra special,” she continued.
Tuesday August 22, 2017, Brick & Ash Block Party and Movie Night:
8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Visit Brick & Ash in their parking lot for an outdoor screening of Pixar's "Inside Out", a kid-friendly animated film highlighting young Riley who is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco where her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.
Brick & Ash will present a special version of a "Drive-In" just without the car; guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets, beach chairs, bean bags and more to set up camp in the parking lot for the film which will be featured on a 16 foot inflatable movie screen. Beer, wine, snacks, and other refreshments will be
available throughout the movie with service from the Brick & Ash team. Guests are encouraged to come dressed up as their favorite emotion to celebrate Movie Night. The film will begin promptly at 8 p.m., but guests are welcome to join in anytime during the film. (Note: In the event of rain Movie Night will be held Tuesday August 29th.) In the event of rain, we will reschedule Movie Night for the following week on Tuesday August 29, 2017!
Sunday, September 10, 2017 - Brick & Ash Carnival Day with Bikers against Bullies:
12 noon – 4 p.m. – Family Friendly
Grab the whole family and join us in the parking lot for Carnival Day! Brick & Ash will have all things bouncy, salty, sweet, and FUN for kids of all ages! This Block Party is in support of non-profit organization Bikers Against Bullies.
Watch in awe as a line of incredible motorcycles roll into the Brick & Ash parking lot, plus stay for photo-ops and a meet & greet with the Bikers & their bikes! They will be on site throughout the event talking about the importance of kindness in schools. Sign the Bikers Against Bullies "Anti-Bullying" Pledge while your here and enjoy a little "swag" from B.A.B.!
We expect a Live DJ, photo booth, popcorn, cotton candy, sno-cones, bouncy obstacle course, carnival games, prizes and treats for the kiddos. Plus, for mom & dad, we will have an outdoor cash bar with beer & wine to enjoy while you're here!
